Here’s what you need to know about setting up a Newfoundland Power account and paying your bill.
SETTING IT UP IS EASY! Go online and fill out the Moving In Form and you’re on your way. You can also call us at 1-800-663-2802 to speak to one of our helpful customer service reps. Make sure to contact us at least 1 business day before your move in date.
VISIT US! If it’s your first time having an account with us, you’ll need to drop by our office to show your ID. This includes any roommates listed as responsible on the account. This validates that the request was indeed made by you and helps prevent against fraud. This is important as not doing so could result in the termination of your electricity service. You will have two weeks from your account start date to drop by. Check out our office locations and hours online.
YOUR FIRST BILL will arrive shortly after your monthly meter reading date. This bill will include a one-time $8.00 + HST new account set up fee and likely to be a partial bill.
GETTING YOUR BILL Ebills is the fastest and most convenient way to receive your bill and there’s a contest on the go right now! Customers who sign up for ebills will be entered to win a monthly prize valued at $100!
