Do you have special health needs such as an oxygen or dialysis machine requiring electricity?
Did you know we maintain a database of special care customers who require electricity for medical purposes? In advance of planned outages we attempt to make direct contact with registered customers allowing them to make important decisions about their health care arrangements.
This list contains customer contact information and a brief description of the customer’s special health requirements such as reliance on an oxygen or dialysis machine. If you or someone you know has special health care requirements that depend on electricity to operate, please be sure to let us know! You can do so by calling 1-800-663-2802, or emailing us at customerrelations@newfoundlandpower.com. If you’re already on this list, please be in touch with us if any of your contact information changes.
Remember that keeping Newfoundland Power up to date on any changes regarding the dependence on electricity for medical purposes in your home is very important. If someone on the list no longer requires the use of this equipment it is important that you let us know as this helps us focus on those customers who still need our help.
(Please note: This may not always apply during unplanned outages, such as those related to weather or damage to the electricity system. In these instances, all resources are allocated to restoring power as quickly and safely as possible. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us.)
